Design Philosophy: Our firm’s main objective is to deliver a finished design that meets or exceeds our client's expectations, while maintaining a positive working experience. We accomplish this by establishing a clear methodology and process and working with a team of professionals with common goals.
As evidenced our portfolio of projects, we work with a wide range of design aesthetics, scopes of work and budgets. We take great pride and enjoyment in the different challenges that each project brings to us.
Our philosophy is to pull from the context of the site, budget, schedule, and clients’ aesthetic to create a strong, cohesive design concept, and then carrying that concept to the completion of the project.
Process: Once the working relationship on a project is established, we turn to the practical concerns, such as budget and schedule. Roles, responsibilities, and processes are established and agreed to by all parties. Programmatic criteria are defined, such as types, quantities, adjacencies, site and building code requirements. The design concept is established in close collaboration with the client. In order to help our clients communicate, we use a process of imaging, whereby clients respond to many different images independent of their project, which provides insight into their underlying aesthetics.
Once the program and design aesthetic are established, we fuse them into a project design criterion. At each step of the project, from the Schematic Design through Construction Administration, we are guided by this criteria. This allows us to deliver a concise, articulate, visually coherent project, providing optimum client satisfaction.
